Big Walk

A review of today's weather forecast meant that we had decided on a sunny day to do our big walk. The cyclists went out first thing whilst the official Bailey sitter and I sorted the picnic. The bestest friend, Bailey and I were dropped off at Perranporth and walked the coastal path to PorthTowan via Trevaunance Cove, St Agnes Head and Porth Chapel. And lots of mine workings along the way including Wheal Coates. Neither of us are entirely sure that our shots do the day justice with the big skies, fabulous seas and views as far back as Trevose and towards Godrevy lighthouses.

After at least 8 miles, we arrived in Porth Towan to meet up with the favourite and the official Bailey sitter who had been surfing elsewhere. Bailey was very pleased to see them but was a bit worn out. He laid on the sand outside of the van whilst we had our picnic inside. A walk down to the beach once we'd eaten and then back for a bit of a relax before heading out for fish and chips at Fistral. The OBS, Bailey and I walked back across the beach to finish off our day of walking.
