Sardines
Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . . . to eat fish
Actually, I could eat fish in Portugal every day and never tire of it.
Not when it's been freshly caught that day and landed in the local fish market at Quarteira, just along the coast. Then, it has to be cooked on the spot and served immediately to your table in the open air - under a sunshade on the quayside at Vilamoura.
Today it was grilled sardines - with a bit of salad on the side ....................
