Concentrating

I promised her that after dance she could decorate the cakes we made yesterday. She worked really hard doing music practise this morning to make sure we had time tonight. We did bright red glacé icing on B's cake which she carefully covered in a variety of perfectly placed sprinkles & decorations. We made vanilla buttercream and a homemade piping bag for the cupcakes & did flowers with the icing - some more successfully than others. She decorated all of those with little leaves. We used the remaining frosting to decorate our cake and shes decorating that on her own at the moment, having requested I don't look.

She came out of school with a grin, clutching an Easter egg today. There had been a raffle at school but we had forgotten and not sent any money for her to get tickets. So because she didn't have one, her best friend who won two gave her one. I melted just a little bit when katie told me.
