Egg hunt

Our day started with holiday club. We had our first opportunity this year to take the children into the garden which they loved. We did baking, science, crafts loads.... it was a great session with a fab group of kids. I had a drama practice after the session before katie and I headed home to drop some stuff.

We arrived home to discover that her prize money for the music festival bursary had been dropped off. She’s thoroughly excited to have a very special amount to save for something wonderful.

We went off to the music festival family concert this afternoon. It was brilliant! Her favourite was the narrated Ferdinand the Bull piece. Her friends big brother was narrating it & he was great. We are getting to know some really lovely people this week, including this family.

After the concert, katie went off with Lydia’s mummy for a bit of shopping she needed to do for my birthday. She dropped her off in time for katie and I to head off for tea with my sister & niece. It was great to have some chilled out time with them.
