Too many choices

Yesterday was about mainly office choices. Today my wife and I continues our hunt for a worktop colour to fit with the intended flooring. Found some wonderful locations with a great array of quartz and marble slabs. Slowly narrowing things down.

The afternoon saw us at a local hotel to mark my mother in law's 90th birthday today. All her "children" were there - her sons travelling up from England. As did one of her grandsons who brought her two great grandsons with him. The extra shows her with the younger one.

The other extra is of some of the hotel's peacocks in a tree. The light today was wonderful and the luminescence in the plumage was great.

So many choices to make for the blip. I have better ones of the birthday girl, but I really liked the effect of the light and shadow looking out of the restaurant window.
