Flowers at the gym. Pretty is much needed after yesterday.

The Coptic population is about 10m, around 44 died yesterday and three times as many were injured. With those stats the odds of knowing people directly affected would be small, but I know three.

A state of emergency comes into effect next week. I don't understand why it's not immediate. It's Easter, and Sham el Nessim - a spring celebration which is said to be pharaonic in origin. Everyone will be out in the streets.

Anyway, let's hope and pray it's calm.
