Chicago!

Chicago is our destination for Oskar's trip. He is our family tree guy and loves to know who begat who and where they lived and what they did. Chicago is H and my "hometown" so we are here to show them what we love about the Windy City. We both grew up in a Suberb west and north but met after college when I was living in the city with girlfriends from college and working at the hospital and H was a medical student at U of I.. We got married and lived in old town in 1963... We'll walk around that neighborhood in a few days.. So many good things to see ..great museums etc....good art, and oh yes, sports! tonight we walked to Uno's pizzeria ..home of deep dish Chicago pizza .. (Here waiting outside for a table). I think it was the first I ever had as a teenager. Oskar gave it a 5.5 out of 10! ( I sort of agreed...Humm..guess you can't go back??) We are on the 22nd floor of a hotel with huge Windows so this is a reflection of their bed in the window... They are loving it! Stay tuned... There's lots planned!! But now it's time for bed after this get up early travel day!
