The Birthday that just keeps on giving...

My very dear friend Charlotte invited me to have a belated birthday lunch at her home...with her daughter, Jennifer.   It was just wonderful!  first there was champagne....then a delicious cheese soufflé - and ended with this amazing lemon sherbet that she also made!   see the extra for the fabulous little ballerina candle holder!!!   They both gifted me with lovely, thoughtful gifts .... it was a beautiful lunch spent talking about all kinds of things in our lives, which lasted about 3 hours!

back home to trim bowls....thankfully brie bakers were too moist so have to leave them till tomorrow.

It's been a scorcher here....a high of 18 degrees.....feels like summer almost!   the snow is definitely starting to recede!

Well i think that is it for birthday gatherings...i feel very blessed and lucky to have such loving folks around me!
