Lunch without a view

I have now done this walk three times in two weeks - Coniston copper mines, Levers Water, Prison Band, Swirl How, Brim Fell and Coniston Old Man. The first time was a planning trip for a U3A walk, the second was with Mr B and today was the U3A walk. Over the first two outings I had sunshine, snow, ice, rain and today I added cloud and wind to the weather variations. I may have trodden the same route on each occasion but have have had three quite different experiences.
