Good Friday Procession
When we first arrived in Zihuatanejo, we made a pilgrimage to San Miguel de Allende for the Semana Santa processions. They were an amazing sight, an incredible experience, and a fabulous photo opportunity. Nothing in our little town compares, but the people here are no less devout as is evident in today's entry. These people are out in the hot morning sun, marching from station to station chanting all the way. Not at all like the spectacle of San Miguel, but blocking traffic (at least one lane) just the same.
