A720 Under the City Bypass (Loanheid)
I'm back... (did you notice I was away...?)
My fears that drove me (on the bike) to Porty Old Skool to get the last blip proved unfounded. After 4 days in the Lakes (not literally - I'd be like a shriveled prune) and 80 miles of trekking I returned to work for a 45km day on the bike. (It's different muscles, it's fine, I hardly felt a thing)
45 km that took me past the school and its still standing - just! I couldn't see any newly revealed Cigs but you never know; there's others been in there and I live in hope...
However - my journey did take me to the southern extremities of town - and at lunchtime too. Handy that. So I sneaked off in my lunch break to the underpass and snaffled a Cigs break there. These were part of a bigger mural that's since been covered over by someone of smaller stature as it seems they couldn't reach the higher up ones. (Or maybe had insufficient paint; who knows??)
Having worked up a thirst, it seemed right to quench it with a pint with
Edinimage at his exhibition at Canonmills at the Other Place. Some impressive stuff on display. That's the third blipper exhibition I have been to this year. There's some talented photographers out in blipland.
