Bothy on Illgill Head

Definitely better large on black

Drove over to Wasdale today to walk Illgill Head and Whin Rigg - on the way up the fell, this bothy made a great foreground to the fells in the background - Kirk Fell, Great Gable and Lingmell (L-R)

The extra shows the view back along Wastwater from the top of the screes, having just done Whin Rigg.

The walk over the two fells (Wainwrights 211 and 212) was one of the best walks ever, but the return along the bottom of the screes at the edge of Wastwater was seriously hard work. 10 miles in total
