Stand to Attention!!

Thanks everyone for their really nice comments on yesterday's Blip, I really appreciate it!
Today has been a scorcher of a day which has been good but it's typical really. The best day of the week has had to be spent packing and cleaning the house! We were able to get a couple of house in the sun but still the pool was freezing!
This photo is of some plants next to the pool. I think the brown plants are dead but they still look quite nice.

With the bags packed and most of the house cleaned we had two friends over for dinner which was lovely. We did all the food preparation in the afternoon so all we had to do was cook, lay the table and entertain. Mum cooked a superb dinner and overall it has been a great week. It has flown by though! unfair but hey ho!

Looking forward to getting home and picking up the developed photos from Reading which shall be interesting...
Almost time for school so the last minute packing will be underway!
