They've Arrived!

Rose and Randy have finally arrived in Brighton!  They landed into Heathrow last night and stayed at The Hilton, and then got a taxi to our house this morning, arriving just after midday.

Rise and I both started Blipping within a couple of days of each other 5 years ago and have become 'real' friends, often talking on FaceTime, but this is the first time we've actually met in person.  Alan met Rose last year when he went to Chicago on a business trip, and he said that we're very alike and knew that we'd get on well.

It's so lovely to finally meet them both in person, and she was so excited to see us and to meet Bobbie and Milou, that she started crying. They bought us some lovely gifts, including jumpers for the boys (check out my extra).

Alan worked from home today, and we had fish and chips for lunch and once Rose & Randy had unpacked, I took them to the supermarket to pick up a few essentials. On the way I stopped off near the coast road to Blip them by the 'Welcome to Brighton' sign - I thought it was quite appropriate!

Anyway, the boys are now with the doggy sitter and we're all on our way to France for the weekend.  We're travelling on the Eurotunnel, which will be a new experience for them!
