Fulbourn Fen - Ancient Oak

Margaret and I went for a walk at Fulbourn Fen this afternoon and we took a field tape with us so we could measure the girth of this ancient oak tree.  Amazingly it was just under 6 metres round at a point one and a half metres from the ground.  So, using the guide from the Woodland Trust we reckon this tree is 400 years old, give or take a few...  James I was on the throne when this tree was an acorn.
