to the lighthouse

I read that this lighthouse, seen here from the national trust beach at Godrevy, was the inspiration for Virginia Wolf's book.
It's a gorgeous beach, with mini canyons in the cliffs, hung with green weed, and rock pools as well as an expanse of sand and wonderful translucent green water. We swam, briefly. That water is beautiful, but cold!
