making new friends

Lunch out today with a fairly new friend and her partner. It's not so easy to make and meet new friends as you get older, I've found, so a great pleasure when you do. This was taken in the garden of the rather smart country pub we had lunch at.
Caught up on all the work terribleness from Ithaca, must spend the evening working on a really good reason why I can't go back...
there are back blips from the St Ives holiday, maybe better to concentrate on a reason to go to St Ives, rather than not go to work, so much more positive!
