Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

He made it!

It was the most beautiful calm warm morning in Inveraray, and over breakfast we debated whether to cancel a couple of appointments in Edinburgh (including voting in the cooncil elections) and continue our West Coast holiday by heading north to Oban and Plockton. This area is getting the best of the weather.

But we decided to come home and do our civic duty. It was a very long journey for Archie, but Yay -

He wasn't sick!!!

We took turns to sit in the back with a sick bag at the ready. But hopefully he'll soon be able to be there on his own.

We had lots of stops, including Loch Lomond, Luss, the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies (where we kept a look out for those frequent Kelpies visitors, Maggie and John D, but I see they were there yesterday). Archie was just a wee lad when we last visited the Kelpies.

Archie loved his mini tour of Scotland, and took a real interest in each place, as you can see...
