Another stunning day
I don't know if we are bone idle or enjoying the beauty of our surroundings, possibly both, whatever (no attitude intended) we haven't moved from our temporary home in two days and more than comfortable with that. The blue skies are fabulous and loving the blossom as it hangs on.
Old Harry, our former neighbour who died two years ago, was a 7 day a week worker, he was into his 80's when the cancer affected him and all this changed. When we called in he would ask about our day and then say with glee 'I've been idle all day'. Since then idle has taken on a different meaning, I like it as a word, have fond memories of old Harry and perhaps it's fine every now and then to sit and read, chat, doze....
