Sauntering

Off to Saunton Sands with M while C went swimming.
Such a great beach. Mainly dog walkers at this time of year. Nice to walk and talk with the boy. Then a Devon pastie. Not bad.
And you know how Devon farmers collect strange machinery that they leave around their farmyards? Well we passed a farm with a jet fighter parked outside. And, probably, a UKIP poster.

In the afternoon, C and I went to Westward Ho!! (The second ! Was mine, the first was the village's). Quite nice but with a cheesy area of amusements etc. Hot choc at the Pier House, named for the pier that lasted 9 years before it fell down.
Then M and I went for our routine run.
