After dinner tonight we went into the courtyard and putted around on the AstroTurf green. My mom made at least three holes in one! She has a good eye and a steady hand. While we were out there I had a lengthy exchange with my mom's roommate, though my mom never acknowledges her as such. Usually mom says something like, "That person drives me crazy" about everyone who's not staff.  The roommate was asking how she could get to LAX and when her son was coming. After she bid us "adios" she was standing in a corner of the courtyard, knocking on the wall, calling her son's name. Paul went over and redirected her.

My mom, Paul, and I sat outside for a bit after the golf and agreed how pleasant it was out there. My mom said that if only she had a car she could go there more often.
