Perfect weather

Today I took my mom to Bellingham's annual Procession of the Species gathering / parade. Here she is on the library lawn enjoying the scene. We joined up with Elizabeth and Luka, my friend and her dog, and visited while commenting on the costumes and kids and then the same kids again and their costumes. No one seems to mind the repetition. 

Before we left to go to the parade, one of the other residents, C, came into my mom's room, speaking French. As we left my mom said she hoped that C didn't go back into her room and steal stuff. My mom was wearing C's sweater and had someone else's sunglasses on.
