Hurt hoolit ....

Wondered what the terrier was barking at this morning. Discovered this wee tawny owl chick on the grass. He has obviously done a face plant when he fell from a nest. Phoned the SSPCA and a wee lassie came out to collect him.
Off to St Boswells with 4 heifers to sell store. A wee bit of excitement when 1 of them tried to get me going into the ring. Still life in the old dog yet as I can still climb the fence at speed when required !
Back home after a visit to my mechanic pal to replace a joint in one of the Landrover drive shafts.
Junior found a second owl chick so phoned the SSPCA again. A different wee lassie collected it this time . Hope that's them all now !
