Waterfalls, bridges and caves

On our second day in Durham we visited High Force waterfall, which although not the highest fall, it is believed to have the largest volume of falling water of any waterfall in England.  Try saying that quickly....

After this we went to Low Force, where Isobel had 3 refusals, but no falls, at the Wynch Bridge, and then on to Summerhill Force and Gibsons Cave, where Gibson, according to local lore, is said to have hidden from justice behind the fall.  The local plod must have had pretty shoddy eyesight in those days as it is not the most impressive of hiding places....
