Goodge Street Station
I had little bit of a hectic afternoon, today. After a meeting in Kendal Town Hall that finished just before three, my colleague and good friend, Steve, was waiting for me with his engine running in order to get me up to Oxenholme in time for me to get the train down to London.
Upon reaching Euston, I headed swiftly to my hotel on Starcross Street, dumped my bags, freshened up, and set off to meet my brother and a colleague of his whom I first met a few years ago. It was sort of a work meeting - as this guy might want to do some projects with us - but that aside it was very interesting to spend an hour or so chatting to him about his experience of 'start ups' in the States.
After that my brother and I went to get something to eat, which was lovely. I simply don't get enough time to chat with him, these days, and we had plenty to talk about, not least the dire prospects for the election.
I finished my evening walking back to the hotel, hoping the additional steps would go someway to offsetting all of the drinking and eating!

-5.9kgs Great weigh-in, about to be undone by two nights in London, I expect :-(
