Happy 1st Birthday Polly!!!

Today is Polly's very 1st birthday and she really has enjoyed a fantastic day! The day began with a boogie to a rendition of 'Happy Birthday' before present opening. This photo shows Polly with Barkley, a rubber stick which floats and glows in the dark...she absolutely adores it! She also has two new collars, tartan and red with stars, and a brightly coloured snuffle mat. 

It was then a trip to her beloved beach for a run on the sand and a chance to play with Barkley. This afternoon we headed to Dundonald Castle where we began a really lovely walk through woodland and round a reservoir - Polly was lapping it all up, particularly the car journey. It seems Bobbie is actually her motor :-P 

Happy Birthday Polly, you are our world...and you're not even mine!! 

I'm just back in Yorkshire and enjoying some feet up time, why are there so often far too many miles between ourselves and those who are the most special to us?
