Unfortunate timing with today's blip, catching Pookie in the middle of licking her chops after enjoying a treat of a few Dreamies. Having heard the click of the camera she turned tail and stalked off.

Earlier I also enjoyed a treat when friend June took me out for a traditional belated birthday 'pud' at Ben View. We both opted for the caramel apple tart, which was delicious.

I spent the afternoon gathering together some of the things I'll need for my imminent trip to visit Lulabel and Mabel in Brittany. Two more sleeps...
