Californian Lilac

Otherwise known as Ceanothus. This I was informed and identified by the shape of the leaves. Other similar plants have longer thinner leaves. If you differ then please give any other name. I am slowly learning to identify some plants thanks to blip friends. Thank you to everybody who made such nice comments on my gt grandchildren, so kind.
