Reflections
Gavin and I went to see some outdoor furniture this morning. Our current set is very worn and rickety, I think if we try to move it, it will collapse in a heap! We had found something suitable online but then on realising they had a showroom nearby decided to go see it to check the quality before ordering. Just as well we popped in as they gave us a very generous 'Chelsea Flower Show' discount as that starts tomorrow and they will have a stall there.
On the way there I noticed the beautiful light on this pond and after nearly causing Gavin to crash the car by yelling 'stop the car' as we were driving along, I jumped out and got a few photos before the light changed. I even got an obligatory goose to glide in to the scene!
On the way home we went via Kingston where I found some photo frames on sale. My house is filled with photo frames as I love seeing them as I walk around the house. I ordered some new prints of some old favourite photos that have faded in the frames - they were not good copies so unsurprisingly they have faded and the colour has gone funny, so this time I ordered better quality copies from a professional photo lab. I never know whether to replace old photos as the boys grow up but I like to have a mix of current photos with some old ones of them, which they usually don't like.
These GCSE exams go on and on - Thomas has English Lit tomorrow, that will be 6 down and 16 more to go. Luke is almost half way through his university exams and Adam only starts on the 27th.
