Wires down

Hard to believe that this is just a few miles from where we live. It looks and feels so bleak and remote. Even the telephone wires have given up trying to survive and many of the houses in the area are now deserted and no more than piles of rubble.

In the direction I'm facing, there's very little habitation until reaching Llandovery, a dozen or so miles away.
