Rannerdale Reflections
It was overcast all day in Cockermouth. Then I looked at the BBC weather and saw, to my surprise, that Buttermere had wall to wall sunshine from about 5pm onwards. And sure enough, as I drove down the Lorton valley, I could see the clouds lifting off the summits and blue sky appearing. This photo was taken at about 7.00pm by which time views in all directions were exquisite.
