Golden Boy

Another very warm day today - and the sun was still shining well into this evening creating a halo for Bailey. It wasn't made any more bearable by the fire alarm going off three times. The kids were very good considering how warm it was and how fed up we all were. It was one of those days really as it started with a trip around the ring road practically home again to pick up a student who hadn't made it in to school for the English Literature exam. He got there eventually and it was another very fair paper according to virtually everyone. Fingers crossed that that is reflected in their results in August. One Y11 didn't fair too well with the complexities of the day so my last job of Term 5 was to hand her over to her mum. Hopefully she will get some rest this week. I am certainly planning on it being a significant part of my half term.
