Summer daisies
We had a bit of a late start this morning but still managed to have a good run in the warm summer weather and get out the house by 11am as we had another viewing. Thomas headed off to the library to study and we went into the village with Murdoch for a coffee - luckily we could sit outside at our favourite café with Murdoch.
We delivered yet more books to the charity shop and then pottered about at the new house cleaning up after the work that was started yesterday changing the pelmets - we are extending them the length of the wall in a couple of rooms where there are bifold doors, because without doing this the doors cannot open properly if the curtains cannot be pushed back sufficiently away from the windows, and the existing pelmets are preventing this from happening.
We watched the Election Question Time Special on TV last night - I do think some people did not understand that it was question time and just wanted to rant or give their opinion on what they thought of the politician rather than ask a constructive question. As Adam reminded the family, we should be voting for the policies of the party we believe in and not the candidate. He sent us this link if anyone is interested, the results may surprise you.
