Chasewater Sunset

I'm struggling to make sunrises now they are 4:45 in the morning, so I popped up to Chasewater after dinner for a bit of exercise with my camera.  I tried a few long exposure images, to capture the cloud movement and trees being blown in the wind and would have happily posted one of those until last minute the sun made an appearance in a small gap in the bank of clouds to the west.

It was a fleeting glimpse but provided some late interest.  I then beat a swift retreat to the car as a final squally shower rushed across the reservoir towards me.
