The Local Adega

A full day in Mourão today including picnic with a French couple M & D had befriended recently and who are thinking about moving to the area.  Prior to the picnic we made our way over to the highlight of town culture - the Adega where we drink small glasses of red wine, at snacks and listened to the local men sing a cappella - see extra.  We also went for a swim in the lake and M did a sterling job of converting my meal from last night into a new meal tonight.

This photo really struck me and particularly the 3 mens' faces - somehow this just took me back and reminded me of a bygone era - but the fact is, it is alive and well in 2017 in Mourão.  L is of course the link to the present as she was having a conversation with Z-M - the central figure.
