Getting Ready For Summer

It's been a lovely warm day, mostly cloudy but the sun has found it's way through for most of the day.  A bit duller tonight.

The day started with setting up for school visits.  P1 bairns came in to learn about washday in Victorian times.  I was in the museum office for the rest of the day.  I enjoyed a walk around town at lunchtime, and in the sunshine.  More walkies tonight after tea.  Off to work in the pub later.

Although it wasn't overly sunny, me and Sammy still enjoyed our evening walk.  On our way back, things in the village were starting to look summery.  Various folk were busy putting up the summer bunting.  Colin Petrie in the ladder, next Gibbie Inkster, Sean Mackenzie with the bunting, Sonia Inkster and then Mabel Gilfillan.  Looking down Main Street, Scalloway.
