First day in Aruba

Backblip - first of fourteen......

This morning we arrived in Aruba - All-Inclusive at The Holiday Inn Sunspree - not quite what we were expecting but the room is nice and we have a great view from the balcony (photo above) - the weather is hot but very windy ...... we need a snooze but are hanging on until tonight for the bodyclocks to get in sync.

I'm sure the first port of call will be the bar, followed by the Dive Shop for Himself!!!!

Aruba is located off the very northern coast of Venezeula, in the Caribbean Sea and is due south of the island of Hispaniola (made up of Haiti and the Dominican Republic) - the capital of Aruba is Oranjestad and it is the smallest (I think) of the so-called ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao). Here endeth your geography lesson!
