Mid Summer Carnival

It rained all morning, finally drying up in the afternoon.  A couple more light showers, with a dry evening. 

My weekend on in the museum.  It's been a busy day and we had over 800 visitors today.  The morning was busiest, due to the rain.  There was also a cruise liner in Lerwick today.  After tea, I went to watch the carnival.  Now it's a quiet night with my feet up. 

The annual Mid Summer Carnival has been on tonight, and raises money for the Callum Younger Reach to help fund bairns events.  Thankfully it dried up, and a good turn out of floats and public to watch.  Taken at Lower Hillhead, Lerwick.
