Folk Festival 2017

Ahhh this weather! What a glorious day! we spent the early half of it at home as I had a tutu to finish but katie was really helpful with that. We had a little walk for a few bits we need and came back to finalise some bits on it. Mid afternoon her friend arrived to try the tutu on. She loved it, was delighted, but was equally excited to go off and play with katie! They had a really happy hour together and weren't especially keen to be parted.

When eventually E and her mum left, katie and I had a lovely walk on the pastures in the sunshine before we met Granny and Grandad at the Folk Festival. We normally have a fair amount longer there but this year we had a short and sweet visit. She spent a very happy time in the craft tent, making cards, bracelets and being facepainted (on her arm). We had a little look round the musical instrument stalls and stopped for a pint. Of sunrise fruit crush. She was delighted when the giant deck chair became free and sat giggling away. Until she decided it was time to go home. She was quite adamant it was time to leave.

Granny and grandad decided to join us in the leaving- katie had said she'd like to go home and that she'd like them to come too- so we went to our house for tea. We were quite late eating so it was prettt much straight to bed afterwards for her. A lovely Saturday!
