Carved Benches...

...In the Parish Church of Saint Andrew, Chesterton. It's Festival week, so I went to look at the flower displays, Some looking a bit wilted in this heatwave, well into the 90's today. The ends of the benches are carved with various figures, some from the 15th century. The extra is of a sea horse set in blooms amid coloured stones. There is a different design at the entrance to some of the pews. Glorious weather but too hot to do anything much.
