Your guide for a day

Spent today in Edinburgh with American friends we've known for 35 years or so - since the US Navy presence in Dunoon. We had to find them first, negotiating our way into Rosyth Docks where their cruise ship moored for the day. (So impressed with the courtesy we met with there...)

So this is in Greyfriars Church Yard, near the old city walls. It was crawling with tourists, but is beautiful nonetheless. A responsibility to know what to show them - but can't help feeling it was riding on a double-decker bus that stole the show ...
