The Boeing Tour

We went on the Boeing tour of the Everett production facility with friends today. Our photo was taken in front of a green screen in the Future of Flight building where the tour begins and ends. We had a choice of backgrounds to be added when I downloaded the photo -- the extra shows one of the other choices.

It was a nostalgic day for me. I worked at the Everett plant on the 747 program in the very early days. During the tour we walked through a long tunnel where I used to exercise and jog with other employees -- almost 50 years ago!

If you are ever in the Seattle area, do take this tour. Even the non-technical members of our group enjoyed it!
