Wilting

I think this probably sums the country up today... .everyone seems to be struggling in the heat. 

The boys slept for hours at lunch time (probably something to do with playgroup this morning, which they haven't been to for a week and always find it tiring after a break).  The youngest fell asleep at dinner and then woke up after about an hour and is having a very late night as a result.  I'm keeping him quiet with soft cheese and honey on toast (a balanced meal, I'm sure..)

We had the paddling pool out today, I spent more time in than the boys - it was delightful! 

The husband is in London this evening, so it'll be a late night collecting him.  I've had three invitations out / to visit today, so am feeling really quite popular.
