Dubrovnik Bass

Today's photo had to be one of two musicians.  The other option was a pipe-smoking guitarist.  Taking the shot of the bassist involved a 200 metre run. He passed me before I could get my camera ready so I had to run to catch him up, pass him, turn and get ready. Just one shot was possible before he was gone.

Other highlights today included the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art where, as so often, photography was prohibited but the staff seemed so listless in the heat that they couldn't be bothered to enforce the rule. The Museum building was as interesting as the art works, especially the shiny floors and the elegant staircase.

Early this morning, the City looked great in the low sunlight. Some people were swimming and sunbathing before breakfast.
