the spider and the black fly!

Will you walk into my parlour?" said the Spider to the Fly,
'Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to shew when you are there."
Oh no, no," said the little Fly, "to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair can ne'er come down again."

a little too much red wine meant i was a little slow starting this morning! that said, i had a good sleep and a lazy start to the day.

off to watch Greg play footy at Eastwood this morning. cycled there and met li and mad dog Fizz there. was really cool stood watching the footy, and only the occassional appearance from the sun! biked back home and went to mums for a coffee. thought i was going off into town for the afternoon, but didn't, so had a lazy afternoon at home. nice roast beef joint into the oven to slow roast.

picked all of my broad bean crop and shelled them to freeze. also, mowed the lawn twice to keep it nice and short.

experimented with my new macro lens. took this pic of a garden spider, eating a black fly! (you can see his wings...for thing!).

had a mammoth sunday roast beef dinner! roast beef with plenty of horseradish sauce!

rest of the evening was doing the usual stuff, ironing, and early bath!

mondays come around all too soon.....
