'the country of my heart'

..and it's Monday already! the weekends go far too fast!

woke at 6am, and can't believe how dark it was this morning. breakfast, shower and out to join the Monday morning traffic into town. v cool though this morning, the seaaon is definately changing.

not bad for a monday morning at work. managed to stave off eating lunch until past noon (usually starving marvin on a Monday!). went out for a walk around town after lunch, then back for the afternoon.

home and dinner, and did a little bit of gardening after that. then, after watching last nights Countryfile (much of it filmed in Eastwood, and on my doorstep!), i had a drive around DH Lawrence country. there's been some cracking pictures i've seen recently, Steve Adams, local photographer has taken some stunning ones of the fields of Felley. I took this picture from New Road, looking towards the resevoir, and the Barber estate, towards Underwood, and Felley.

home, and into bed to catch up on some tv, before a relatively early night
