Which Came First?

A couple of days ago, driving through a massive thunderstorm, we pass a farmyard truck, under which half a dozen sodden chickens have dashed to shelter from the storm . . . good sense!

Tonight we're in a restaurant eating lunch. We look up and notice there's a big red truck suspended above us . . . bad sense?

We contemplate the paradox as we eat our meal - chicken, of course. And as we chew, we realise we've probably discovered the answer to that age old dilemma: Yes, the chicken came first!
