2017 Monday -- Coastal Fog

After 10 lovely days and nights, we left Cayucos early this morning to return to SoCal. We have much to do there. We have two rental houses to tend to and we want to connect with a real estate agent to put our home on the market.

We'll come back to California's Central Coast in a week or so. This photo was taken on Highway 101 as we are headed to the coast above Santa Barbara; we've just left the inland area of Buellton. Currently the coast is foggy because the inland area is experiencing terribly hot weather.

The normal 4-hour trip from Cayucos to Corona took 5 1/2 hours today because of terrible traffic and accidents along the way. We figure lots of people have hit the road for summer.

We're back to Corona now and gosh is it hot!
