2018 Tuesday — Grammie Teele’s Book

We found this leather bound book as we were packing and moving several days ago. I’m not going to keep this little book because something I have learned in all the packing, moving, and cleaning that we’ve done the past few months is that clutter is clutter. If I packed this little book into a plastic tub with a lid then it would eventually be tossed out by someone who never knew Grammie Teele. So the photos of the pages that most captured my interest will be my way of keeping this little book.

Grammie’s maiden name was “Dyson.” Her first husband, Mr. Cooke, my grandfather, died when my dad was 16 years old, in approximately 1939. She married Grandpa Teele approximately in 1951, which is the date inside one page of this book.
