Jim and June

we're married in June 60 years ago this week!
Today they shared their celebration with all of us at church with Prosecco and yummy cakes.
They have received a card from the Queen congratulating them on their diamond wedding.
Jim is our organist https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2247035374134103687 and is wonderfully musical. On a Saturday they host tea dances at Cracoe village hall (Calendar girls fame). June caters and Jim plays the music. I'm told people come from miles away. They charge a nominal fee and all profits go to charity. Last night, without telling anyone , they didn't charge in honour of this special occasion. Together with all their family they hosted 70 people, most of whom they know well. A great big party!

Extra extra. When I got home from church I'd had a What's app from my daughter - 'Ladies what bump!'
She's with her am dram friends Elise and Lou. Lou, the tall one was told she would have to go in last week for an induction but is now going this week so a little party is being had. They are all having their first babies.
